File Size Issues?

We have been investigating how images affect file sizes, and how our LGPro Compress and Unlink Graphics feature is working, and also what affect resizing images has on file size.

Conclusion: Based on how we now bring slides into LeaderGuide Pro™ documents it appears that our Compress & Unlink function doesn’t do anything to save file space in .doc formatted leader guides; however, the good news it that it DOES save file space when used in .docx formatted leader guides. And, our new Resizing slides images function also reduces file size .docx leader guides.

Similarly, Microsoft’s new picture compress feature has no effect on file size in .doc formats; it only appears to save space in .docx formats.
