Master Library - How to Set the Location
ONE person - BEGIN Here
- In Windows Explorer, go to My Documents and cut or copy your “LeaderGuide Pro Master Library” folder (don’t change its name)
- Go to the drive where you want your master library to reside and paste it in
- Make a note of the file path & share it with your colleagues
NOTE: Don’t change the name of the LGPro folder, keep it as “LeaderGuide Pro Master Library”
Next… EVERYONE
- Open Word (with everything else closed & no Word docs open) & click on the LGPro tab
- Click on the little arrow next to More & in the drop down list, click on Change Library Location
- A dialog box will come up
- Next to “LeaderGuide Pro Master Library” click on Point
- Browse/navigate to the new location of your Master Library
- Click on the Master Library Folder so it is highlighted
- Click OK – you should see it in the white box in the dialog box
- Click on Set & then click on Done
Next - Important
- In Windows Explorer, go back to My Documents\LeaderGuide Pro Master Library and either delete this duplicate copy of the master library folder or re-name to something like “OLD… “ or “COPY OF ….”
This takes longer to read than it does to actually do!
