Fostering Peer Leadership

Pharmaceutical Sales

To have mastered the skill of Leadership means you are able to successfully lead your peers in accomplishing objectives. This proven and highly successful two-day workshop is for experienced career sales representatives who are expected to influence and lead their teammates toward the attainment of goals; company, team, and personal.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe the five key leadership roles required for effective peer leadership
  • Create a motivating environment within your teams and influence team members to change and/or develop as required
  • Plan and organize team project tasks and activities toward successful outcomes
  • Model effective communication techniques that support organizational goals and foster team relationships
  • Help team members embrace and promote change
  • Through the use of visible measurement tools, evaluate and motivate team progress
  • Given a specific situation, determine the appropriate leadership role required and adapt your peer leadership behavior accordingly.

Activities

  • Complete two assessment instruments and receive feedback on the skills of Influence and Communication
  • On various "real world" activities, work in small groups and receive peer and instructor feedback regarding ability to Plan, Organize, and Mobilize team members in accomplishing objectives
  • Based on analysis and discussion, create a personalized action model for managing and dealing with Change
  • Create and present a visual metaphoric dashboard of metrics to Monitor
  • Given an assigned goal and competitive team activity, practice Peer Leadership skills.

Attendees

  • Experienced Sales Representatives, expected to be leaders and role models within their sales team
  • 12 - 30 participants per class (minimum - maximum)
  • District Managers and Regional Directors have also attended and found it to be very valuable.

Price

Terms & Conditions

  • Based upon the information you provide in your Request for Quote, Great Circle Learning issues a formal written price quotation and contract for the services.
  • A signed acceptance of our quotation and contract, along with a booking fee equal to one-half of the full program/project fee, is due at time of scheduling.
  • For workshops, 5-days prior to the start date of the program, full payment of the remaining balance is required. 
  • For customized self-study programs, payment terms are provided in the quotation.
